Shot again today. 30-06..Springfield 03 A3 receiver- Douglas Premium barrel, B& C stock, Timney, & receiver is bedded, 3-9 40mm Nikon Buckmaster.

3 in center are Federal Gold Match 168 Sierra BTHP.. not bad
3 in low left are 150 gr Horn BTSP with 4064 49.8 grain
& 6 shots with 243 for comparisson.
Lower right are 3 150 SST's same powder
upper left 3 Nosler BT same powder
upper right 2 Nosler BT H4350
I did try and load all with same loads @ 2800 fps.
COAL is 3.220 for Hornady BTSP & 3.255 for Horn SST's
COAL is 3.235 for Noslers

Still looking for the coveted less than MOA that I thought I had with
Hornady 150's in BTSP and SST I fired last week.
Must be time to experiment with COAL /seating depth??

What would you'll do next?

Don't stop looking for the charge and OAL because your groups are telling me that you rifle can print a very tight group. Might have to try different weight bullets of the same make like I am going to do in trying 180gr E-Tips soon. I will try different brass and primer also. Hang in there and thanks for posting your target.

Looks like your getting close now.
The joy of hand loading is all the shooting that goes with it.
I have found that when my groups are showing some promise, adjusting the coal tends to make the difference between moa and sub moa
Have you tried RL-19 or H4831 in your '06?

Are you shooting over a chrony.
They are a valuable tool in load development. Usually, but not always, if you have a low S.D. you will have smaller groups.

My honest opinion? The barrel would go back...No questions asked......

How far off the lands are you? Maybe try +/- .010" and see how she shoots.
