Just want to pass this along.

Along with my 257 Bee I got a set of redding dies. The decapping assembly was missing. I called redding to buy another and they would have none of it. They will send me a new one for free, whether I like it or not. I tried to talk them into charging me due to the fact that I was not the first owner but my efforts were met with negative results.
Great company.

Good to know. Maybe they have changed their ways. A couple years ago they sent me a decapping rod with an invoice. RCBS on the other hand has always taken care of me free of charge.

Add Redding to the Good Guys list of manufactures that believe in customer service!

Cool, I like that, no run around and they want things right. Very nice indeed, customer service oriented, kind of strange today but refreshing to say the least. Thanks for that info POP!!

I busted the cam lock on my Redding 2400 Case Trimmer this week. E-mailed Redding, asking if the part was available. They Emailed me back the next morning to say that one is in the mail and on its way. I'm certainly pleased. RCBS has always been at the top in customer service, but Redding is certainly bringing a smile to my face in this instance. I have a fair amount of Redding equipment and it has served me well, but customer service is what makes an individual want to buy more of their product.

Sounds like they really want customers and care about them, wanting their business to reflect that fact. That says volumes what they do without a bunch of trouble or nonsense.

Cool. I just got a set of Redding dies for the .257 Wby too. Seem like very good quality.

I have dealt with Redding, Forster, RCBS and Dillon in reference to their equipment, not just dies. All dealings have been great. Talked with Nosler, Sierra, Berger and Hornady, again great service from all of them. Rick.

Rick,

Thanks for your inputs. Good information to know!

I have received the greatest of service from RCBS, Hornady, and Redding, and maybe a few others besides. I use Forster stuff too, just haven't broken anything yet (maybe that means something!). Too bad the rest of American industry can't get on the same page, huh? I think they'd be miles ahead.

RiverRider,

I've only had cause to phone Forster on one occasion. I bent a decapping rod on a 280 sizing die the first time I used it. The service rep with whom I spoke doubted that the problem was their fault, suggesting that I had set up the die improperly, changing factory settings. I assured him that I had not done so. Nevertheless, he sent me a new decapping rod assembly.
