I have one that is a 350 Rem Mag.

Shoots very well and is impressive on brush hunting Wisconsin Deer. (Rem 200 grain factory shells)

I first thought it was too much, but wow, does it perform and is a pleasure to shoot, handles very fast.

I like mine....not for sale.

I had two in 350 and could not get them to shoot to my satisfaction.. I tried different bulets powders etc. No deal.

Yup, the 350 Rem Mag is a deer thumper for sure. I have the ballistic twin, the 35 Whelen in a M700 Classic. It has taken many WT deer and a Black Bear. The first 4 bucks were taken in '88 and '89 with the 200 gr PSPCL. Switched to the 225 gr PT in '90. I agree with you, "Wow".

Seedsntrees - a buddy I've hunted with for several years uses an old .350 Rem mag that has been in his family for 25 or 30 years - and does real well with it. On mulies. On coyotes... Yes, coyotes... Apparently when his uncle bought it a few decades ago, he also bought a case of that 200 grain factory ammo - and nobody in the family has seen any reason to use anything different - rifle or ammo!

Good luck with the beast - it's a thumper!
