So i am checking out the Canadian Gun Nutz forum the other night and there it is ! :shock: a Brand new in box old stock Remington Model 7 Stainless Steel with Synthectic stock in 300 REM SA Ultra Mag ! :grin: Made a deal and i am looking at it right now ! :wink: Any body on here with one and any one with loading data for the 300 Rem saum cartridge ! :?:
Now what scope to use on it :?: -Hmm ! I already have Talley LW rings bases in the cupboard to fit it :) Thks

Jim, shoot me a PM with your email address. I compiled some 300SAUM data for a friend a few years ago, and I'm sure I still have the PDFs around here somewhere, on one of these hard drives. Might take me a bit, but I'll keep looking. In the meantime, I do recall my friend uses Varget to good effect. PM me and I'll find that data.

I am going to shoot it first and if its a GOODER then I will flute the barrel and bolt - piller and bed the stock - then finish with spider web and clear coat ! I already have done a trigger job on it down to 2 lbs + !
Might refinish the metal to a duller color too with cerakote or similar finsh . :grin:

That is where I would start too..
 
I have loaded up some Speer 150 gr SPBT bullets with WLR primers and H414 powder to test out ! I want to see how this rifle shoots stock ! :grin: RJ
