Hey guys anyone running RL15 in the 260 with 140Partitions or Accubonds??

Load info sure would be a help!

Thanks

Bulldog-

I've yet to put much RL-15 down the tube of either .260 in my safe.
RL-19 & 130gr A-bonds or VLD's have proven good.

One hunting load has always been a max charge of H414 & 130gr A-bonds.

Good luck with the 140's - Let us know what you come up with.

Actually I've been informed that RL15 is pretty fast for the 140's.. I'll hang onto the jug and give some lighter stuff for varmits a try..

Two suggestions I got were for Ramshot Magnum and H4831sc.. Gonna snog som H4831sc and give it a go..

Sure love the way them 140's penetrate in the 260!!

What platform are you shooting them out of ?
Have yet to try any any of the 140's, my Dad has had great luck on elk the last few years.

There is a thread going on now in the hunting forum I belive about accubonds that I've posted some performance pics in.

RL 15 seems to work well with medium weight bullets for any of the .308 based cases. It should be fine for up to 120 grain bullets in the .260. For 140 grain bullets, you may want to use a slower powder.
