Well no pics yet but I have to say that this one is a keeper. Beautiful wood and the bugger shoots. I got the rifle Weds and cannabilized my 308 for the rings and Zeiss Conquest 3 x 9. I loaded up 7 different bullet/powder combinations. Reloader 15 and H4350 in 120 Ballistic tips, 140 Accubonds, 139 Interlocks and 140 GameKings.

 Only one combo shot over MOA! All the other loads were in the 1/2" - 3/4" range. Never had a rifle that shot this well with such a variety. I definitely want to do some more experimenting with the 120 BT's since that is what I want to shoot out of this rifle and with H4350 it was in the 1/2" catagory.

Gotta go resize that brass and load em up!

long...

Is this your first 7-08 ? They are awesome !! As you just found out their not too picky on what combos are fired through them. I use IMR 4350 out of mine with both 120gr & 150gr B-tips with the same accuracy.

+1 w/JD... Pics ?? !

I find myself reaching for my savage 7mm-08 more an more.
It just plain works.

We have killed a lot of game with the 120 bts at 3100 fps with Varget and RL15.

I will try the 150 Partitions soon.

Actually this is my 3rd 7mm-08. I had a Browning Stainless stalker and traded it in on a Sako 308 and then I had a Rem CDL in 7m-08 and my buddy wanted it so I traded him for my Rem LVSF. Both were accurate rifles and each time I regretted not having a 7m-08 in the stable. If this one keeps complying with my wishes it will not be going on the trading blanket.

I just loaded up some 120 BTs with 49 gns H4350 (Lapua resized 308) to see how they shoot this weekend. It liked the 120's with 50 gns and Win brass but with the thicker necks of the resized Lapua I figured I would drop a grain...

sounds like you've traded yourself into quite a nice piece and can't imagine you trading it down the line.
Mine is one of those this is almost one of those cases I like too much to take it out of the safe often. It is a varmit barrel set up so a little difficult to pack around too far, but certianly one of my favorite to shoot.
