Yesterday some friends/family and I made a trip to Bass Pro to look around. Among the used guns, I found three Sauer 202's. They were chambered in 270 Win, 30-06, and 6.5x55. The 270 and 30-06 were synthetics and the 6.5 is wood. I have a 202 synthetic 25-06 and recently gifted a wooden stocked 308 to my youngest stepson, primarily so he would stop drooling on other guns when he was looking at it in the safe.
Anyway, I've been trying to be good and resist buy more guns but the 6.5 spoke to me and I ended up bringing it home. It came with 30mm rings and mounts installed. The stock has

 some very nice wood grain.
 some very nice wood grain.
The BP folks said they had received some import rifles from Europe and, accordingly, these were threaded and had muzzle brakes installed. I tested my suppressor and found it wouldn't fit. The thread pattern is metric but similar to 1/2×28. If anyone knows, or could direct me to someone who would be able to identify it so I can try to obtain an adapter, I would greatly appreciate it.
So, now I need to dig out my Swede brass and dies and concoct some loads to take to the range and try it out.
