I'm debating whether or not to put my load back where it was. I'm loading for my custom 300 WM for precision long range shooting,& I used to seat a 220gr. Sierra Matchking to SAMMI spec, oal. But after doing some research I learned that I should seat closer to the lands. But,here's the thing. I was grouping better with the original load.So I have a lot of options.I could just seat back where they were.I could load them down,or maybe up to see if my groups come back.I could start all over from scratch.I don't realy want to load them up any more,as I'm getting 2800 fps, allready. When I started seating to .015" off the lands,my velosity increased 100 fps.Should I download back a ways to get back to 2700 fps? What do you all think I should do? Thanks in advance. Oh yeah. I allmost forgot. When I seat the 220 gr bullet to SAMMI OAL there is a LOT of the bullet inside the case. What are the potential problems with this?
