My daughter WANTED to help me do some reloading today. The only thing I had to do was pull some bullets, So she learned How to do that. Maybe I need to load up some 7 Mags tomorrow! What better way to start off 20 aught 9 !

Thats great! I remember when my girls were of that age and they would help me "Make Bullets".

awesome JD, mines been helping me since she was 4, she resized and primed 50 6.5 Gibbs cases a while back. I weigh the charges and charge the case, she likes seating bullets, that way she gets to "finish the product"!

My son has been helping since he was about 4. This is the first time my daughter has wanted to.I think shes hooked!

What a doll! And I like your RCBS turret also. But I gotta ask, Why is'nt the turret full of dies? Come on, what kind of example is that for a father to be to his daughter?

The bullet pulling die wont turn if you have another die in it. The arm hits the other dies. don't worry, She helped me pull the other dies out. She knows what a seat, and sizer and factory crimp is. At least she did when I was removing them. You know, I only paid $25.00 for that press? I got it at a salvage store after katrina went thru. Down in Laurel MS. I need to clean it up some. When I got it , it had some surface rust, but that is all.
When It's cold, I set it up on that workmate and park it in the living room.
The rest of the year it sets on a shelf in the shop.

JDMAG...

That is sweeeet ! I just can't wait for my 5yr old to get old enough to do ALL my hand loads.... Right now he wants to take the primers out that have " dingers " in them.....clean the primer pockets, cause he gets to use the electric lyman cleaner and of course seat the bullets.

Nice! I've had my son helping me out much the same as Ridge Runner - I lube, he sizes & decaps, we tumble, I prime and charge, he seats, I make the labels. At the range, I shoot, he allocates ammo to me one round at a time, and he writes down the velocities in my notebook. He even tells me when it's clear to shoot again through the chrony. If I don't shoot quickly enough, he'll poke me or wave his hand at the chrony display for me to be sure to see. Quite the taskmaster, he is. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I do notice, JDMag, that you need a picture of your daughter on the furniture behind you while she's busy working on your ammo!

She's on the other end of the same book shelf!

She helped you create memories that will last a lifetime. Congratulations.
