Anyone tried the Superperformance powder in the 300 Win Mag with 165 to 200 gr bullets?

I had been itching to try Superformance in a couple rifles but the last time I looked, data was fairly lacking. I wanted to try it in a 7WSM, 7-08, not to mention the 300WM and/or WBY, but at the time, I didn't see any data. I may get some to try out in my 243 and 22-250...

I was tempted to get some Superformance 180gn ammo for a 300 Win Mag, pull a bullet and weigh the powder. 300 Wins are not much lower in most powder weights than a 300 Wby Mag.

From what I've done with my 280 Rem, the SF loads that work well with it are nearly identical in weight to the RL-19 and H-4831SC loads. I know SF burns slower than those two, but likely not much slower. It's TOO much of a stretch for me and my wildcatting to load SF in my 300 Wby Mag with the same amount of powder that I use with RL-19 loads. I'm not going there. Until I see data from Hodgdon on this chambering, I'm keeping SF out of my 300 Roy.

With the 280, SF is a good powder with 150gn bullets.

Yes Pull the bullet.......I was waiting for someone to buy a Box with the 180 SST in 300 WM to weight the powder charge?

72.0 of IMR 4350 with 180 PP as my standard load in my 300 Win Mag.
I have got some good groups with RL 22 and RL 19.
Just wanted to see if anyone has tried SP in the 300 Win Mag?

In my old 1965 Weatherby 300 still use either IMR4350 with 180 PP or H4831 with 200gr Speer's.
