I've not used any VV powders so can not attest to anything. What I seem to be reading is that it is great for velocity but few of you are talking about accuracy. For me, accuracy is the deciding is the deciding factor. I will give up 50-75 fps for better accuracy.

I've read on other forums where people used vv powders with great success accuracy wise, so it's possible. I'm hoping to find the same success across many cartridges with many vv powders (550, 555, 560, 565, 468, 570, 150, 160, 165). On the pistol side 3n37 has worked great for me.
at one time , my thoughts on V- V powder , was I couldn't buy it locally , and it was expensive powder + the hazmat ,+ shipping costs , made it to where I'm not paying that . then we got into the scarce components saga . now V-V powder is priced inline with other brands , or maybe cheaper , and it's usually available . I have never heard anything bad about it . comp shooters use it . I have heard their lot to lot variation is fairly consistent . I have not burned enough , to know much about it .

I just picked up some n140 to try in the 7x57 and some 550 in the 6.5 creedmoor and 6.5x55. This summer I've been trying the n150 in the 7x57 and n160 in the 6.5x55. I've been very pleased with the results.

Seems like 550 is on fast side of burn depending on bullet weight(s) but not totally wrong. 555 and 560 are more common iirc as 550 is closer suited for 260rem. I have 550 to 570 as will get around to trying 550 and 560 in both when I get around to it? Keep us in the loop when you get some testing done

Vv 550 is close to win760 / imr4350 and anything thats meant for the 260rem will be good to go in the 6.5cm/7x57. I really wanted some VV 555 but it's been out of stock everywhere online and at stores. The Vv 560 is closer to 4831 burn rate and it would work but maybe too slow for what I wanted.
