I filled a gap in my arsenal early last month with a TC Icon Precision Hunter in a 6.5 Creedmoor. Had seen a few Icon "Classics" but never a Precision Hunter, and ended up buying this sight unseen. Topped it with a Zeiss 6.5-20x50 for now ("borrowed" from a varmint rifle until the squirrels and rockchucks wake up and/or I buy the new scope for this one, whichever comes first...) I'm pretty impressed with this so far. I'm shooting 1/2 MOA groups with factory ammo so far, and am pretty sure it's capable of 0.35 or better if I'd quit drinking coffee on my shooting mornings, play with loads a bit, and wait until a calm day. This rifle balances very well for a heavy barreled model -- would buy it again in a heartbeat. Looking forward to logging a lot of miles with it.

Very nice!
No doubt, she is going to be a shooter. The new 6.5mm 129 gr ABLR is made to order.

The 6.5 Creedmoor is a fascinating cartridge, and the ICON should give you good service. Excellent setup. Congratulations.

Interesting rifle that's not seen often.

I hope it performs well for you. Certainly has the look of a fine shooter!

I hope so. I really like how it handles and feels so far, and suspect it's the most accurate rifle I own. This will probably be the rifle I carry the most over the course of the year, as it fits my niche for coyotes, white tail, mule deer, wolves, and (if/when I draw) mountain goat and bighorn sheep.

Nice looking rifle! What's the trigger like on it?
I really like it -- clean, crisp, and consistent. The trigger pull fits my preferences very well, so haven't had the need or desire to play with it. Sorry I can't be more definitive. Might be a little heavy for benchrest guys, but great for hunting.

A good friend on here, .280Remington, has an Icon in .243 and really likes it alot. He has taken some long, long, shots at Prairie Dogs with his. They are a very nice rifle, and TC makes good stuff.

Can't wait to see the groups!

I have been looking at buying an Icon, maybe in .243 and can't find one for less than $800. What a ripoff!!

I've got a couple different calibers on my "routine search list" -- will let you know if I run across a .243 for a decent price.
