Sounds as if you found a diamond in the rough. Congratulations. When you get the posting worked out, I'm sure we'll all be most interested in your latest creation.

CZ, I know you are an old hand at posting photos; nevertheless, reread this thread:

http://forum.nosler.com/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=10797&hilit=pictures

if you haven't done so already.

Wonder if something changed when the crew was doing maintenance?

Handsome rifle, to be sure. Receiving ammunition for a rifle you don't currently own is always an invitation to build.

If that target is a group it is dang impressive! Did you have the barrel set back to reduce free bore?

yes, the work was the folowing.-

face of the barrel that contact action was rectified -.003"
Face of the action squared -.003"
Face of bolt rectified and lightly polished.
bolt lugs lightly polished.

there was no change in threads, headspace +-.003"

3 shots at 100mts, thats the group.

will try now 162gr eld-x and see results.

By now dont know the freebore the rifle was shot with factory custom ammo.
I dont have problem with COL the rifle is a single shot without ejector.
