This just plain has me PO'd. That sort of price inflation will ruin there own market. They can kick me off the board if they want. Who can afford that- or afford to practice. At half that price you'll never get the kids started on the sport. Yes I know .22 is cheaper etc. Not the point. I could go on babbling disjointedly... Where does this $%it end? CL

I just looked up the specs on that load. According to what was posted, it does 2750 FPS at the muzzle. My current handload pushes the 200 gr. Speer Hot Core close to 2900 FPS from my rifle's 26" barrel. I do use a powder no longer available but think I could come close with IMR7828SSC or H4831 without straining anything. I've used the same load with the 200 gr. Nosler with similar results.

Grand, Magnum, H1000 and a few others will get to close to 3k with a 200 gr.
