Tried RL26

Loaded different charges in 300WSM / 190gn LRAB. Highest charge got me 3075 - 3100 fps. All charges were clustering into one hole - 3 shots. This RL26 has potential.

Loaded in my 243W, velocity was greater then my load of RL17 by 25-75 fps. The pet load of RL17 clustered one hole so I'm sticking with it for this hunting season. All shots were at 60yds.

I believe the RL26 is going to get a work out after hunting season to see if it produces better then the RL17 loads. Been using 17 in most my guns lately.

Anybody else trying this new powder?

Good report. I think I will give it a go in the 300 mag pretty soon. Got the powder. Just need to find a box of 200 AB,s before our elk hunters buy them up.

RL22 shines in my .300WM. being a gun nut of the nuttiest sort i'll likely try RL26 after H1000 and 7828SC. I just love messing w/ perfection....lol

I love to tinker with powders too. I like RL-22 and H4831with 180,s. Then switch to 7828 with 200,s. when I find bullets I want to try RL-26 with 2oo,s just because.
