 Remington Ultra Magnum - a huge whopping beltless magnum case that burns whole cans of gunpowder to rock the shooter back, set the prarie on fire and hurl a bullet downrange at ridiculous velocity.
Hey, you both forgot the black eye, and half moon cut over the eye !
I know most are Leupold fans, but my .300RUM wears a Alaskan Guide from Cabelas.........nice rubber ring around the back, ie....NO CUTS !
Well, I just had to jump on this one. 270fan, the Remington Ultra Mags are, despite their critics, a family of the finest catridges ever to come down the pike. My personal favorite is the 7mm but I also like the .338 and .300. I confess I have no experience with the .375. These catridges can reach out there and get the job done with no excuses. Nosler's Accubonds and Partitions work wonders in any of them. Most of my experience has been with the 7mm and not only does it kill well but the accuracy is outstanding at any distance. It also shoots flatter than anything I have ever gotten my hands on. Flat enough to sight in dead on at 300 yards with a 160 AccuBond. I have mine in a Remington Sendero. I really did not intend to end up using this rifle as much as I have but more and more I reach for it when an important hunt is on the line because I KNOW the rifle and catridge will deliver when I need it.
