I'm rebarreling a Mark V wby to 30-378 rfom 300. This leaves me with a 300 bee barrel with 250-300 rnds thro it approx. The rifling looks perfect, but there is a little wear on the side of the barrel not down to shiny steel, but you can notice it a little from a scabbord wearing on the barrel. The barrel shoots well, just wanted a brake and have a decent supply of brass for the 30-378 and only about 35 rnds for the 300. What is it worth, one of my friends may want it, but I have no idea what to ask. I paid $270 for a new 30-378 wby barrel w/accubrake, but consider that a hell of a deal. I've seen alot of barrels on Gunbroker for 75-150, but those were mostly remmington and winchester stuff not wby. I'm thinkin' around 200 perhaps? or is that outrageous with the finish being less than perfect? It may also be damaged worse when it is removed, but I'm hoping not. It would be great to pay for the smith work with the old barrel. Could be asking to much of the situation tho.

I would think 150.00 would be a good price.
Negotiate a fair price between yourself and your buddy.
Congratulations on your 30-378 Wby. That is going to be
a flat liner.

Pop I'm with you , $100.00 bucks for a used barrel scares me, matter of fact i don't buy used barrels, but I'm sure someone will.
