INTERESTED IN AREAS WITH HUNTABLE WHITETAIL IN BAKER COUNTY. JUST RESEARCHING THIS YEAR IF YOU HAVE ANY TIPS,
THANK YOU!, TIM

The only whitetail I ever killed was over by Whitney years ago. Since then I have seen them in odd places all over Eastern Oregon. Ochoco Mountain, Antone Ranch, lots of them between Dayville and Prairie City along the river bottoms, Murderers Creek Ranch, Fox Valley, and near Vale too.

The first one is off a trail cam from near Boardman, number of years ago, #2 is my best, I’ve only killed two, from near Pendleton as is the last one taken by my young guide who worked for me in Alaska. The rest of my deer were mostly mule deer and a couple of Columbia Black tails.
Whitetails started showing up in the late 80s early 90s.
