This will be a summer project unless we can work out a trade, that's when my cashflow will support it, just thought I'd put the bug in your ear if you've got something before you sell it or trade elsewhere.
I'm looking for either a commercial 6.5X55 swedish hunting rifle or an M96 or M98 mauser, Rem or Savage based sporter either complete or barreled action/project gun. As long as the bore is good, finish serviceable and in working order or needing common parts it will work for me. This will be a working rifle so I don't need anything fancy or collectable. I'm not really a winchester guy. I would love a Husqvarna commercial mauser in this caliber. Stock work/replacement or minor gunsmithing needed OK.
I'd also be interested in an unaltered Swedish military M38 or 38/96 or Husqvarna M96. (to match my chainsaw!).
If you need cash, you'd have to wait until I have some in April. If you're into milsurp handguns or rifles we might be able to work out a trade. I have a Swiss M1911 long rifle,Jap T99, several mosins and a Romanian TT33 I'd be willing to part with among others. Thanks for looking.
