Quick history 700 SS/SYN 300 RUM bought at a bargin price because it had a accuracy problem. I worked on it a bit got it down to averaging at least less than 1 1/2" . I recently bought a book by Bryce Towesly called " Gunsmithing made easy " . In it he described how to stiffen the forearms on "Tuperware" stocks. I tried it on my 338 RUM see " these accubonds just may work out ". So I decided to give the 300 RUM the same treatment . I had already done some testing for pressure . This load was 99.2 Retumbo , 215 fed , R-P Brass , 180 AccuBond , 5 shots range was 100 yards just a bit of a breeze . Chrono'd 3336 high 3328 low 25 - 30 ft from the muzzle. This is a little hot I will back off to about 3300 for my final load . Yes , Greg Nolan I know I missed the dang dime again ! Can't wait to find a whitetail this fall. good hunting KH.
