...put a VX-3 4.5X14 on it, still right @ 7lbs., loaded, w/ sling, & a hell of a buy if you can get it near that cheap. Maybe something you wouldn't want to shoot 60 rnds. @ a match w/, but I suspect even @ 7# the recoil should be pretty manageable...

My Kimber .325 has to be close to that weight, and I certainly don't find it objectionable to shoot.

I like Remington's!!! I'm kind of ashamed (especially on this forum) that I sold my one and only Winchester M70 to get the action for my .300 Win. Mag. ... I will say I regret it, it was a .338 Win. Mag. that shot extremely well, . . . and it was manufactured in 1962. I guess I live with myself because I sold it to my gunsmith and he took a dandy bull with it this year. Oh! And he took his bull with the hand loads I gave to him with the rifle!

Very nice. I wouldn't mind a Browning at all, especially one like that. It looks like a very nice rifle ad the price is pretty right on it now.. I will keep my eye on it..

And yes, I do own 1 Remington, but that is the 35 Whelen. I can't claim the other Remington, that is my son's! :lol:
