That's where I bought mine. 4.5x14x44 Target Rapid Z1000. I wish it was a standard duplex crosshair but hopefully the reticle clutter doesn't drive me crazy.

I have the 800 and I had the same concerns but it's not as busy as i thought it would be, and you get used to it. I will say this, the system work very very well, at least with the rapid Z 800.

Bill,

The issue is with the rapid Z1000 the big crosshair is for 500yds instead of 200yds like the Z600 and Z800. Another issue is the trajectory is set up for a .308win. where as the Z800 is set up for the Ultra Mag cases. So I would of preferred the Z800 but if it's too much cluster I'll just use the big crosshair and dial for distance.

Man, I'd love to pick up a 6.5-20x50 or three, but I already have two extras (a Leupy and a Vortex).

This is wierd being rifle-short, rather than optics-short.

Great prices on them.. Man, what I would do to have one of them 4.5x14's!!!

Wow, those are some really good prices!
The 6.5-20x50mm caught my eye.

What are you thinking Jim? It sounds like you have something kicking around? HA!

Yeah, those 6.5x20's would be a pretty awesome set up on a long gun to really see what is going on out there at extended ranges..

Scotty

I am thinking of getting a Night Force 5.5-22x50mm with the MOAR reticle for the 338 RUM.

Wow, that is alot of optic for sure. Check out the Zeiss's Jim. Their glass is really something. Either way, seems like you are really trying to get that 338 stretched out some huh?
