Question for you guys...
I'm finding a couple different iterations of DiaScope spotters out there. What appears to be the older one has dual focusing dials, sports a wider variety of exterior colors (silver, green and an olive-tan-looking color) but also claims the FL glass, T* and LotuTec coatings. The current model is a single focusing wheel (what Zeiss calls dual-speed focusing), is matte black and looks like maybe it has a little heavier rubber armor coating on the exterior. They both say they accept Vario eyepieces.
So my question is this: what other difference(s) between these two models am I missing? Also, any experience with one or the other, feel free to share.
Thanks!
