I did not get a chance to chrono this load, but I ran one into the jugs yesterday. It is a 250 Grain, Super HammerHead by Sako. This Bullet exited the 6th jug, and bounced off of #7.. It weighed 202.1 recovered for 80% weight retention and a LARGE frontal area.

Jugs where shot at approx. 20 yards.

That is a ferocious looking bullet. I'm interested in the hydraulic engineer overseeing the water jugs, however. Hopefully he survived the test.

Man, now that's a good looking bullet right there! I am digging that big flat frontal area.. Talk about a bear load. That thing would cause some major havoc and still penetrate.. That's a winner of a bullet in a factory load.

I wonder what this bullet would look like out of a 338 RUM at 3000 fps?
