I have a lead sled and with a .416 Rigby and .30 Nolser I used 2-25lb bags for a total of 50 lbs.

If you don't have a bag of lead shot a couple of 10lb barbels will suffice.

I’ve never used a lead sled but I would imagine putting a 25 lb of lead shot would dampen recoil to a tolerable level JD338
