Old man with a Pistol

30-30 Thompson Contender 14" barrel. Burris 4x scope.

My first reloads for this loaded quite awhile ago.


Some rounds my father loaded in the latter 80's or early 90's.

Those TC Contenders will shoot. Nice shooting.

Appears to be working well, just as it did for your dad. Neat pistol.

Oh man, I love the T/C Contenders. Mine has Georgia Jim furniture.
I have the T/C 14" hunter barrel in 7x30 Waters and a SSK Shilen 14" chambered in 6.5 JDJ.
Both are tack drivers!

I bought them unfinished and finished them myself. It was a fun little project.
