Is the stock neutral or does it have quite a bit of cast off? (curious as a lefty)
Best 20 for the money

There is definitely some cast off, but it seems slight to me, not drastic. Not sure how to gauge it though.

I have a Stoeger Condor and it is definitely cast for a RH shooter unfortunately. Wish it were straight stocked. I'm going to look at a reflex sight so it will hit to point of aim left handed.

Dale a straight edge will show you how much cast the stock has, 1/4 inch is fairly standard.
For you south paws out there, we all became programmed with side by sides to smash our faces against the stock to compensate for cast off. What I found after getting cast on applied to my 20gauge is a feeling of almost not establishing a cheek weld. I do of course but it seems so light now I’ll have to relearn a consistent gun mount. The difference being left handed and actually being able to shoot a gun with proper cast is remarkable. Best $150.00 bucks I ever spent on a shotgun was getting the stock bent just a little.

As I just didn't do well with the O/Us, and did better with the semis and pumps, I didn't use them very much...so hopefully I don't have as big a learning curve when I finally find a SxS with nuetral cast or cast on. I know I have a decent cheekweld, but don't feel as though I am smashing my cheek into the stock.

I know that CZ make a Southpaw version (Bob White G2)...I just haven't seen one yet to try the cast on for feel.

Have not seen one yet but hope to find one to try. They make an over under too that's a lefty.
Benelli makes an over under too that you can shim the stock for left or right but it's pricey.

There's just something special about the SxS that O/U doesn't quite have...
not saying there isn't something classy about an O/U...but it just isn't the same...and I can't quite explain it...perhaps it is that slim side profile that looks like it carries better in the hand...
I guess it comes down to personal taste...
Saw a photo that someone posted of a Savage Fox A Grade in 20 ga on another forum...an amazing, classy/classic looking firearm!
Apparently there a couple for sale here in Canada at the moment (not this one)...both north of $4000

When you look at the Fox above, and yes the Fox A grade is a very nice gun, you see the arrangement of the triggers. On a classic sxs the second trigger is set to the left of the first trigger to reduce or prevent the risk of doubling. I have relatively thick fingers and being left handed the meat of my trigger finger can, under recoil, pick up that second trigger. If you blow up the pictures of the attached AYA that was built for left handed shooter, the triggers have been reversed.
The CZ bobwhite does have a little, no one at CZ has told me how much, cast on built into the stock. The did not reverse the triggers for a left handed shooter.
The solution is either a single trigger, as in the Fausti I’m having built or training to fire the left barrel first. Physics is physics and with an English stock your hand will move slightly rearward under recoil making it more difficult to get to the front trigger.https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1086042075

Thanks, I was unsure of the trigger orientation of a LH sxs w/ dual triggers...
I think that having a single trigger would simplify things in this regard...
