My parents got mee mine for christmas in 1984, still going strong, loaded 100 6.5 CM rounds with it today. Sent it back once years ago to have a magnet glued back on. Its been flawless through hundreds of thousands of rounds. Have a new Chargemaster supreme waiting for the AMT to give up the ghost but hate to give thee old relic up, something about confirming the charge with a balance beam that makes me feel good about it.

I have used digital scales and balance beams before. For me I prefer the digital auto dispensers. I enjoy using my Hornady LNL auto dispenser.

I'd like to see one of those run, but I've never even seen one. I vaguely recall seeing them advertised, I think. The design looks terrific, and being based on a balance beam is a real plus IMO. I'd like to look at one to understand how it works.

Not the same thing, by any stretch, but I have a PACT Digital Powder Scale I bought back in 1995 or so. At one pont maybe 15 years ago, I sold it on ebay because I had a Chargemaster dispenser and thought I wouldn't need the PACT anymore. Unfortunately (but maybe fortunately!) I packed it incorrectly before mailing it off to the buyer in Alaska. It arrived in an inoperative state, so he sent it back and I sent his money back. I sent the broken scale back to PACT and they repaired it for a nominal fee. I have used it a lot since then and have come to trust it because it matches up with my RCBS 10-10 consistently and it always agrees with my checkweights. It's especially useful for sorting through cast bullets to detect and reject the ones with unseen voids.
