Thread Deleted

I decided to voluntarily delete a recent thread that I had posted (No, nobody PM'd me or asked me to delete it if you are wondering). Upon further reflection, it struck me that the content of the thread was highly counterproductive not just in terms of its content but also in terms of it being a deviation from this forums' established cultural expectations. This forum is the way it is due to the environment we have created here and I felt it's necessary to strictly uphold those standards to prevent this place from mirroring some of the other forums out there. Even when something is not breaking the rules and is technically allowed, it can still cause unnecessary and unwanted damage.

I read it and chose to ignore it. It wasn't bad but not productive. I think you choosing to voluntarily removing it shows great character. Don't see that often on Internet forums.
