a little bit of a recap , and a couple more elk taken during the archery season . sounds like the hunters had a good season .

going from memory , the hunters seem to be fairly successful during the hunts . I'm not sure of the reasons , it seems the bull hunters are just about 100% always . the cow hunters is usually where the success ratio falls off . maybe the bull hunters stuck to it better , just a guess . the late season hunt was originally a cow hunt . I seem to remember that late season hunt having poor success the first couple years . I'm assuming the elk were hard to find that time of year , or were wintering in no hunting zones .

I'll try to remember to keep this thread updated as I find more info on these hunts .
