    223 WSSM , 22-250 or 220 swift?

In benchrest quality guns, the 220 Swift normally beats the 22-250. Don't ask me why, but it usually does. You always have the exception of course....both are accurate, but BR is a different crowd.

    223 WSSM , 22-250 or 220 swift?

220 Swift - top pick for a long range 22, deadly accurate 22-250 - top pick if cost of loaded ammo is a concern, normally not as accurate as a swift in identical rifles 223 WSSM - too hard on barrels, future availability of brass

    32 H&R magnum

I did see with Lil Gun, 1263 fps (12 grains/16.7K Cup) possible w/ 85 jhp out of a 5 inch and 1227 fps (11.5 grains/20K CUP) w/ 90 JHP. The Georgia ammo 100 grain JHP clocks 1002 fps out of my exact gun so that would be my choice for factory fodder. I think 1050-1075 might be possible with Lil...

Remington 700 Mountain Rifle in 280 Remington

My 280 mountain rifle would group 3/4 inch all day long with 140s, but it was a 1986/87 version, back when ALL REMINGTONS SHOT GOOD.

Anybody have any experience with 85 or 100 JHPs in this caliber? Just bought a S&W 451 PD in this caliber for concealed carry.

    Guaranteed Trophy Elk "Hunt"

I would rather go home empty handed for 30 years in a row then to hunt one of those high-fenced properties.

    scope for my 458 Lott?

The only scope I've ever heard of not failing on a serious rifle like that long term is a Zeiss Diavari. One water buffalo outfit in Australia replaces VX-IIIs (1.5-5) every six months due to failures on regular 458 Winchester Magnums. Maybe a Zeiss Conquest 1.8 - 5.5 would hold up maybe a...

    Rifle Quandry

Yes, you'll need a 26 inch tube for the 25-06 AI and I recommend this lenght for the standard 25-06 too. Don't forget the standard 25-06 can be loaded close to the Roy in 26 inch lenghts like the Ruger #1.
