    Ackley Improved

Like said before. The biggest gain is increased powder capacity. Rule of thumb is about 100fps on most cartridges. But in the case of the 30-06 in a NEW current manufactured rifle and barrel can be far more. PSI max is 60K psi in the 06 yet 65K in a 270. Remember the pressure max of 60K is to...

    Browning BLR 358 Win

45.5 gr TAC, Win brass, CCI LR Mag primer, 225 gr partition gives me 2450fps in my savage 116 with sub MOA. I couldn't get the speeds Mike Price wrote about, but i am more than happy. Shot a 4 point WT with it last year at 60yds. hit both front shoulders and DRT. Massive damage with a complete...

    125 grainers in .30-06

I tried the 125 BT and RL15 in my savage 30-06. Great light recoiling load at somewhere around 3000fps. My wife loved it. Cases were very sooty if i tried to lower it any so i would recommend staying near maximum. But always work up a load as every rifle is different.

    Blackhorn 209 advantage

I finally tried it last week. No chrono results yet, but the max charge of 84 gr ( OCD i have to exactly weigh none of that by volume crap) gives 1.09" group in my TC Omega and 250gr Barnes TMZ. With 777 would get 1.5" groups with150gr but youd have to smash the ram rod off a tree to get the...

    lubing cases

I have a question.. Is there any reason instead of lubing the inside of my case necks for FL sizing that i can't just remove my expander ball every half dozen cases and just put some lube on it? I've been doing this lately and had no problems but i only reload about 24 cases at a time.. I was...
