    WWI Revolver fired Today

I would gladly take it shooting in my lifetime if you were ever up this way!! 😂 Grand revolvers those S&W’s! I shot a WWI Remington-UMC stamped 1911 .45 ACP twenty years ago that I absolutely loved! Hard to go wrong with a .45!

The 1-14” twist precludes anything heavier than the old 87 grain Flat base spitzers so we have used the Sierra Varminter exclusively. The 39 grain charge gives us right at 3000 fps in that 24” barrel. We have used...

    Par - dic - a - ment

Looks like its a takedown, those are notorious for being less accurate than solid frame models. Although for less than 100 yards with open sights it should still be well within minute of pop can. I would offer him $500. See what he says.

    2026 Rifle Plans

This is me. I should leave my wallet at home when I go to the gunshow this year. Hoping to do a couple of out of state hunts! Was thinking of picking up another 20 gauge. Either an O/U or semi-auto. But I need to finish my .300 Savage project, and continue thinning my herd a bit yet.
