    .35 Whelen acquired, now optimizing.

I’ve gotten excellent speed and accuracy with CFE223 and the Sierra 225 gr Game King in my Remington 700 Classic 35 Whelen. JD338

Patrick Glad you got to take the Nighthawk out for a range session. Seems to be a smooth shooter. JD338

    Lucked Up On Some Bullets!

Gil, I agree with your choice of 150 gr bullets for the 280 Remington. If the BT doesn’t pan out, consider the 150 gr AB, ABLR or PT. Any one of those would definitely step up your 280 Rem should a bigger target of opportunity present itself while out hunting. JD338

So I forgot a very important rule

I have a similar problem. My wife says ok but I want a new one too! 😳 She’s been eyeing the Weatherby Capra in 25 Wby RPM. And of course she’s sold on the Leupold VX-5HD 3-15x44mm FireDot duplex. I created a monster. JD338

    Presses and Impressions

I started reloading back in 1974 with a RCBS JR press and dies for a 30-06. I still have that press and dies. I upgraded to a RCBS Rockchucker and then a Forester Co-Ax press which I absolutely love. The camming force is second to none. JD338

    Whitetail bullet options

The 250 gr AB is my go to bullet in my 338 RUM and has taken countless crop damage deer. I’ve never had issues with expansion on over 100+ deer. JD338

Green Dot Vs Red Dot Sights

I used to sell LEDs to the automotive industry. Green light falls into the middle of the visible spectrum 500-570 nm. Red light has a much broader visible spectrum that ranges from 630-750 nm.
