Dos Plumas does it right. Jordi and Quentin are first class folks and make sure you have a great time on the ranch. We plan on going back. JD338

What is your favourite metric cartridge?

I like the 6.5mm’s. I have a 6.5 JDJ in a TC Contender. Had a 6.5 Rem Mag in the M673 Guide but sold it and now have a 6.5 Wby RPM in an Accumark Limited. JD338

Partition vs solid base in 30 cal

The 165 gr SB shoots very well in my 308 Win and is very effective on WT deer. It holds together and penetrates deep. It won’t disappoint. https://forum.nosler.com/threads/308-winchester-165-gr-solid-base-whitetail-country.47484/ JD338

Partition vs solid base in 30 cal

Here’s a 6.5mm 140 gr Solid Base shot from a 6.5 Wby RPM at 3050 fps. Recovered one from water jugs and the other from a hog. It’s a tough bullet. JD338

Partition vs solid base in 30 cal

I plan on using the 375 260 gr PT on a deer this year to try them out. I recovered this one from water jugs. JD338

    A Range Session Today!

That’s some good shooting. Maybe try seating the bullet a little deeper to tighten up your group. If it were me I’d try a group at 2.810”. JD338
