Scouting Reports

Spent the day scouting for deer and elk. Only saw a few deer but found about 40 elk, two small bulls. There were others I never identified but my gut says those were cows.
It's a little over an hour from my house to the area I hunt, I'll get up there a few overnights so I can be in country for the witching hour.

This morning on our 4 mile hill loop. I’d shoot him I think. Early October, dare him to stand 200 yards from me then!

He's a respectble buck. No doubt you'll get your chance to take a poke at him in a matter of weeks.
