I dare say we are on the same page . to me the 264 in either the 6.5 grendel or the 6.5 creedmore is just a step above the 22 size caliber making it a large varmint gun. I put the 120 gr in and its a OMG thing .

my advice for anyone wanting a encore ,get a cartridge with a rimed brass .

i am of the opinion that annealing is far more important than it being pretty. shoot it anneal it .repeat

after running the rice & brass in the rock tumbler for many hours one thing did happen . the inside of the brass was much cleaner than corncob or walnut has ever done . all it did for primer pockets was to plug up the holes . that was something i was expecting. ok so what! super clean brass...

i did take a deer with a hornady copper. the deer reacted immediately to flee .before it had gotten 30 yard i shot again. that one anchored it
