So I use Hornady One Shot as case lube. I'm assuming that this spray will def be bad for primers so im guessing that I will scrap all of the primers for precautionary reasons.
Hi All. I'm just trying to remember if I can resize already primed cases and reuse the primers after? I think if I deprime slowly there should not be any primer set offs? Is it possible to reuse the primers or just discard them? Thank you for any input.
I would if I can find some near me in Canada. That's how I am able to get the Nosler brass. I was able to buy the last box when I found it of 30-06 for $62.99 on sale.
I mostly use Winchester and grabbing Nosler brass when I have the extra cash. I think I only have 10 pieces of Norms brass left. I love that stuff but have not been able to find it now. I only used the Remington brass as I had it already sized and primed ready to go. It's Def on my back back up...
Well the 165 gr Partition did exactly what it has been designed to do for so many years. 148yd free hand shot. Meat in the freezer. Thanks all for your assistance and patience while I worked this load out. I'm still not totally done on a set OAL yet. This is why it keeps us going.
This is the load that I have been leaning towards. 57.0 gr and the group itself was looking fantastic until oops my bad. I know 2 shots does not make a good group comparison but even with a classic Partition kicker it would still be a sub 1" group. I have not seen any animals that walk away from...
All of the brass was Remington. The others all ejected like butter. The primers all look perfect and the same. I'm a bit stumped. I will measure all cases with a caliper to see if any differences between them.

I'm now a bit unsure. The 57.0 gr load was a perfect group until I had the rear bag slip and the 3rd shot went high. The 57.5 gr load had the first shot high and was hard to eject. Will inspect the case for a reason the other 2 shots were great. Both tight groups. The 57.0 gr load is hitting...
Thank you so much for this info. It is such a big help. I had concerns running the loads up to 57.5 gr. All people say that 57.0 and 57.5 gr loads are a perfect match for the 165 gr and the 30-06.
Hi folks, I am looking to see if there is any Quick Load info for 30-06 Win 22 inch barrel 165 gr Nosler Partitions H4350 CCI200 Primers 3.355" OAL. I have done a search and only found the data for the Ballistic Tip. I'm unsure if this data would be the same for the Ballistic Tip and the...
The Nosler tables does list the 57.5grn load of H4350 as it's most accurate load they tested. Maybe it's worth the play to gain that extra fps out of the 165 pill.
If you look at my pics of targets the 56.5grn load is not a bad grouping. The 57.0grn is not bad as well. Maybe I just never decided to try to run OAL set to see if either of those loads would tighten up for a group. Maybe it might be worth my time to try them. I just loaded a length from a...
OK. An update on the 55.5grn load and seating depth. It looks like the load with the 3.360" OAL is what this old Win Mod 70 30-06 seems to like the best. It measures out to just around a .7" group. I think for a hunting rifle that should just do the trick.
