I know it as Frangible ammo for indoor. LE use it a ton for quals. I've loaded it and it works the same as large primer in my 45 acp 1911s. As said above, just separate it and load it.
My B14 Hunter 7-08 doesn't like 140 grain Partitions. I tried them with Big Game and my usual reloading process. Now they were a bulk of "over-runs" from Midway with the looks like a cut cannelure. But still.
I recommend you try the Redding Body Die to bump .003 and a Lee Collet die to follow. It works for me. And drop short and trickle.
Edit: And Lapua brass
I have been running Lapua Brass, BR2's, 162 ELD-X, 39.0 grains IMR 8208 XBR, for 2653fps with a 4.7SD. Bergara B-14 that I skim bedded. I bump .003 with a Redding Body Die and follow with a Lee Collet Die. Works great on S. Indiana whitetails.
I have a 7-08 that runs ELD-X 162’s @ 2653 out of a 22”. Last year I removed the scope from the rail and the barreled action from the stock to have the barrel threaded. Eventually I put it all back together and went out to shoot this fall to see if it was close. I shot one at 50 to check...
I don't even reload shot shells for trap and skeet anymore... Once the last of my 1k reloads are gone I will suck it up for a case of gun clubs when needed.
