I had a Savage 10 Predator Hunter in 6.5 Creed. 24" fluted barrel. I picked it up very lightly used. Sucker was money. I was all set up to reload for it but it was great with factory hunting ammo. I sold it. Still don't know WHY is sell guns....

I have an 8# jug because I read a bunch about it being really good for the 7-08 with 140gr bullets. My rifle didn't like it with 140 PTs. I may try it someday with BT 140s.

I now vote for just putting it behind the ear and be done with it. Pass the shot if not avaiable. :)

Results are, 2579 fps with SD of 15.9, ES 44. This is a velocity drop of only 74 fps (18.5 fps per inch cut off).

Or use a press mounted bullet puller, pour the powder out, take a picure and then dissect the case. That way you dont contaminate the powder and can send quality pictures to the powder manufacturer.
