Has anyone had any experience with a 260 or 7mm-08 Ackley Improved. Both word work nicely I a REM 700 SA.
What about a 6.5x06? Seems like a good one as well.
I have a buddy who shoots that bullet exclusively in his 280 AI, if memory serves me right it’s RL23 and Federal Gold medal match 215 primer with Nosler brass. It’s extremely accurate and will fill the freezer full of elk in a hurry.
I cannot tell you how they are on game, but they have both been very accurate. You have to have a tag and actually see something to shoot at:LOL:. None the less very accurate in the 260 remington tikka

Specs: Stainless steel, 280 rem. Factory rings...
Picked it up today, the trigger is real nice for a ruger, light and crisp. I’m going to put a vx3i 3.5-10x40 on it. As new, I’m excited to give it a whirl..
Hey all I have found a beautiful Ruger m77 stainless 280 rem, I'm planning on picking it up tomorrow, It has less than 1 box of ammo through it. It looks new in fact. Not sure on the age of the gun but it has the newer composite stock, pretty much the same stock as the hawkeye version. Should...
