    Favorite .308WIN loads

What are you hunting with this year?

Christensen Ridgeline 300 Win Mag with 165 Accubonds and a Leupold VX5HD 3-15x44 will be my ticket puncher this year. I've got a cow elk tag for the area just south of home.

Nosler 6.5 140 gr HPBT Custom Competition

I've shot several sub 1/8" groups with them in both of my Creedmoors. They don't have the highest BC but they are very accurate.

    6.5 Creedmoor Accubond

I get ~2900 with 43.5 RL17 and the 130 AB in my 22" Predator, so right in line with you guys.

    Best Over All Powders 300Win

RL17 which is also in the 4350 burn speed category works well for me. I've also been happy with RL22 and 23.

    New Sierra bullets

If you're already dialing, a few points on the BC doesn't matter that much.

    New Sierra bullets

I can't say I'm excited enough about them to buy any, however it is good to have options.

    Suppressor?

I really like my Omega, it can be configured to a length just over 6 inches. It also has variety of endcaps so you can have a flat cap or the anchorbrake. Additionally it has thread mounting options or it comes with their ASR quick attach mount. In the lightest configuration it is barely over...

    AR10 recommendations?

I have a LaRue AR10 and the Ruger SR762. Both are Armalite pattern rifles. My LaRue is exceptionally accurate with 165-168 grain bullets. It does not like bullets that are lighter or heavier. I shoot both suppressed. The LaRue is a DI gun and the Ruger is a piston gun, I don't see much of a...

    6mm or 25-06??

I have several 25/06s but my No. 1 B is my favorite. The only 6mm I have is a 6mm Creedmoor in the Ruger Predator. They really built that rifle right, 7.7 twist 5R rifling, threaded muzzle. The only thing it needs is a Timney trigger. It is ridiculously accurate and shoots the 105 RDFs into the...

    I'm a progressive now

You really need to keep distractions to a minimum with any progressive press. A lot of things are happening at the same time with every pull of the handle and you can make a big mess in a hurry if you try to do anything other than focus on reloading. I load 12 gauge on a hydraulic operated MEC...

    Midsouth Shooters Supply

I've shot some pretty tight groups with blem bullets. Midsouth is more expensive than SPS on Nosler blems though.

    1,475 yard practice

A few the guys I shoot with are also into serious long range work. We have a test rock at 1147 yards. It's nearly broken in half now. Fortunately it's easy to measure out to a mile with the section line roads out here.

    QL request 6MM Creedmore

https://sierrabulletsblog.com/2017/10/0 ... load-data/ I plan to test out Ramshot Hunter in my 6 Creedmoor with the 105 RDFs.

    Don't you hate brass trimming

I used to despise it until I got the WFT2. I use it in conjunction with the RCBS case prep center. It works well enough I don't see a reason to change to the Giraud.
