That is a dandy. I gotta get into whitetail hunting a little more. We saw quite a few on our Montana trip last week, they are so sneaky compared to elk or mule deer.

Yes, whitetails can be sneaky. If it weren't for the rut, I don't think we would get that many bucks.

It is interesting that you have hunted western game and express an interest in hunting more whitetail whereas I have hunted whitetail all of my adult life and would like to hunt more mule deer and elk.
