Chrony repair

Shooting Chrony was actually a Canadian manufacturer that had a business location in New York. Did they completely go out of business or just close the New York location? Maybe some of the forum members to the North would know.

I couldn't find they were still in business as I needed a new screen.

Ended up using one of those Chinese hot plastic staplers to repair the the screens and as a bonus they are one piece now and are easier to install.

Maybe it's just time to get a new chronograph. Garmin makes a good one and the price point has come down. They are so easy to set up you will probably use it every time you shoot.

$499 to $1025 is not down enough. No doubt the easiest there us tonuse,
If you are reloading without using a chrono as part of your load development process, you're just doing guesswork.
Yep. Im pretty good at it too.muktiple rifles shooting 1/2" groups or less. I only took out the Chronograph out when I was more interested on velocity

Are you talking about the sky screens? I read where one guy made new ones out of a milk jug. If it is cloudy, you dont need them.

If any of y'all are able to purchase from GovX, they offer the Athlon Rangecraft chronograph for a very good discount.
I have the Athlon but wish I had the Garmin. Ive got some strange readings in the rain and towards evening at times. Also the date and times had a bug for about a month Athlon said it was caused by the update and first he had heard of this happening to anybody but was good customer service. Still I have chrony envy of the Garmin.

Rain degrades doppler radar. Gives you inaccurate returns.
