QL Request please? 24" 7mm08, 145LRX going for 64K? Thanks!

I got the rifle back from the first gunsmith, my old gunsmith wanted to look at it. We worked with it some and got it have a better bolt lift, but the problem is in the 3 way safety bolt shroud thats on it. Its causing all the problems. He is going to have "one of the rifles" fixed before my hunt in early December. I had dropped my heirloom JC Higgins 30-06 off to put one of those 3 way safeties on and a brake, put it in a Butler Creek stock. He still hasn't had time to finish it. So my fingers are crossed. Its always a bummer to pay for a good rifle and get s "project" instead!

I myself had sold "what I thought" was a perfect rifle to a friend in Oregon. It was one of the Weatherby MKV Ultralights originally in 338/06. I had it rebarreled to that 338 RPM. When he got it, the Ceracoat was peeling off, bad rust underneath. The scope base holes were odd size. I returned half his money back, and he was gracious enough to work with me , but I was humiliated, and I never went back to that Gunsmith. He himself was great, but he turned most of the "work" over to two helpers. They weren't paying attention. So it can happen.
