Any body use this in there 338 win mag with 200 & 225 grain loads ?
I can find big game and hunter locally. Just cant find much info in my reload books

Well talked myself out of the trade,must of had a moment of weakness and to much time on my hands :?
But its probably going to cost me in the long run.The more I look and shoot it the more I want other #1"s

I have a guy that wants to trade me a TC pro hunter for my ruger #1 . It looks like new
and my ruger is a good 85%.a 270 would be more gentle on the bench compared the my 338,
just not sure if its a even trade

I have been trying the 225 accubonds in a friends 338 win ss classic with RE 19 & IMR 4350
with no luck. I think the short mag length(cant load over factory length) plus plastic stock has a lot to do with it,but we did get little better groups with the hornady 225"s.He is getting a little...
Not to great of shooting weather ,snowing and 20 degrees , I think the #1 might be a shooter
I think I will keep going with the re22 loads.But any advice is more than welcome

I have lived here most of my life and it does get a little crowded once in a while but its still not to bad

I see there are some #1 fans here,just got my first one a week ago.
Its not as scare free like the ones on here but you have to start some where
Its a mid eighties b model 338 mag. Just loaded some shells yesterday and hope to shoot
some time today,It did shoot factory win 200 grains well
