My son would disagree he a shot large mule 200 yards shoulder 140gr Accubond from 270 WSM bullet must have came apart on impact 2 hours latter we caught up two him and I up a 100grBT form 260Rem. into the lungs and game over. But if not for getting the second shot the buck would have been coyote...
Got fall caught up so did some more loading and came up with a white tail load 100gr BTs with 48.5gr H4350 and no pressure signs 1/2 inch 3 shot group at 100 yds. that is good shooting for me a lefty shooting right handed so I'm vary happy. POP can you punch the numbers for me to get estimate...
Thanks HogWild working on 100grBT's with H4350 hope to try them this weekend. I think a 110gr E-tip would be grate or an Accubond for now.
Thanks Alan.
How about someone from Nosler tell us what we will get in 2008 because I don't think what I want has a thing to do with it. And now the E-Tip will slow any new Accubonds. I guess just tired of waiting for nothing. And Kerwhop I'm with you on the 6.5 maybe even a little lighter.
Alan.
I picked up some 100BTs today on a trip to Calgary so now need a place to start my load any suggestions on powders with H on them.
Foregot 260 Rem.
Thanks Alan.
Thanks POP ; I think i'll give them try and see if 260 bdl ss likes them. With any luck Nosler will make a lite 6.5mm Accubond the 130gr. in the 260 is to slow unless 10 yards away .
dubyam, I was looking at the same and came to the same conclusion. Just not sure if at higher muzzle velocity from my 260rem the 100gr. will do the job on white tails at 200+ yards, the only distance you'll get a standing shot in my area of Alberta.
The 260 in 110or 115 to keep lenth down . And is the 260 turn left out to the end on the Accubonds then 130s not in whitetail country we need fast and flat.
