What are you shooting for? if its just a deer or antelope gun, those are just fine for groups. I'll admit that I do play with different powders and bullets before I find one I really like and is accurate, but if you've done some work with the gun and thats as good as it gets, its fine too.
Hopefully Hodgdon doesn't have data for Reloder 17 powder!
I like Reloder 19 and 22 in my 280 and .25/06 respectively. They both offer top velocity and accuracy is superb! Reloder 15 is great in my .350 Rem Mag and Reloder 10x is good in my .204 Ruger.
Lots of good whitetail and mule deer around great falls. There is still an oppurtunity to do some waterfowling around there too.
Non resident tags are kind of expensive, $350 for Deer, $750 for Elk and deer, $1100 for Outfitter sponsored hunts... http://fwp.mt.gov
You'll have to check FWPs...
Neither my Remington 11-87 12 ga or my Ruger Deerfield 99/44 semi auto 44 mag rifle leave any unburned powder in the action. Both are gas operated. My 10/22 does leave quite a bit of unburned powder though.
Well, my main complaint, is the price... I can chamfer the cases and weigh them myself, I don't think its worth $66 for 100 cases when I can buy Winchester .204 brass for $18... Its good that Nosler does offer these products, but the cost keeps me out of it.
If you have ever read "One Hole Group" the author pretty much de-bunks the primer myth... you won't gain or lose anything with primers, or even that last .1 grain of powder... I use Rem primers... I've had problems in the past with CCI primers not staying in the cases and making a mess, or...
I've shot two deer with the Accubond, both bullets completely destroyed the skulls. While they weren't recovered, there is no question that they did expand.

I loaded 115 gr TSX's up and they just weren't accurate, I only tried a few powders and charges, but it was too easy to go back on my pet load, that prints reliable .333" groups...
