I just printed an excellent group with Hornady's 165 SST. Groups were .25" inside and .40" outside. 57.3 gr. of IMR 4350. Hornady's manual lists (as of 1990) 57.4 gr. yielding 2900 fps. I am thinking of trying that charge, plus or minus on my 165 Partitions!

I have IMR 4350, but will change to whatever is recommended. I am not tied to the 200 - not averse to the 180 PT or AB. I want to maximize velocity and therefore energy while getting accuracy. I just think I can improve on my hunting load.

I want to try the 200gr. Accubond in my .30-06. I have IMR 4350, Rem 9 1/2 LR primers in Rem brass. My 200gr. Partitions are most accurate with 53.2 gr. of IMR 4831 and yield 2475 fps. I would like similar velocity with the Accubond. Does anyone have a good starting point or other suggestions? Tks!
