Great job my Friend, I know that you had total confidence in your 35 Whelen .

Blkram/Gil taught me that when I was up there Moose hunting with him, Mike and Gerry. We were in a Mountain Blue Berry patch and 2 picked and one stood on guard with his rifle on hand.
I have a photo showing Gil and Gerry enjoying the Blue Berries.
My condolences to the Family and Friend of the...
Have been using Wipeout for a number of years now and I find that it works exceptional well.
A few years ago I cleaned a fellows rifle that had not been cleaned for many years and it took me 4 evenings of Wipeout before I finished it off with Butch's Bore Shine (y).
He exclusively shot Barnes...
Guy it is so nice to see a fellow hunter that enjoys the hunt and doesn't worry about a harvest .
I just got back from a Elk hunt that I had to cut short :(.
In 4 days we saw 5 Moose, 7 Bears and at least 100 whitetail deer even a few Mulies but didn't get 1 crack at a Elk.

Well I got back this past Friday from 4 days of Elk hunting .

I am leaving to go Elk hunting on Sept. 13th as season our rifle season runs from the 15th to the 30th of this month.
I believe it is my turn now as I haven't had a poke at one for 5 years .
Guy, as usual your photos are top shelf (y), are you going to be able to get out with a bow this...
Yes I read that as well a few days ago. A wounded wild animal the size of a Elk is nothing to take lightly.
I had a friend that was run over by a wounded 2 year old Bull Moose he did survive the encounter but had 20 some stitches to close up a head wound. He was shooting a 375 H & H at the time...
I have hunted and seen numerous black bears in my time, they have never really been any concern.
When I was up hunting with Mike, Gil and Gerry there were a few times that something got my attention real quick first was when we were driving the cut backs going up a mountain or 2  and then...
Very nice Muleman I am sure that she will do everything you want her to do and more.
I am looking forward to your load development with photos I hope ..

Dan
PS. Sorry Sir not only my hearing is going it looks like my eyes are getting weaker as well .
My hunting partner still has his Dad's 06 in the 760 , his Nick name was Buck for 35 years were bantered back and forth about the 06 calibre .
Anyways Buck passed away in the mid 1990s and shortly after his death I was asked go out with depredation tags as there was a over population...
I can say that I have hunted with many different rifles and shotguns but my 2 most memorable were my first 2 shot guns which were a 12 gauge Cooey Single shot and a Marlin 10 gauge bolt action.
Every time I squeezed the trigger I told myself never again but I kept them for the first 3 or 4 years...
Hmm, my wife may or may not know how many rifles are in my gun safe  .
As the saying goes my boys know that after I am gone to sell my rifles for market value not what I may or may not have told their Mom what I paid for them .
Blessings,
Dan
