That’s what I was wondering. I haven’t seen a 270 come close to 3k with less than about 60 grains of H 4831 and any 130. Nothing wrong with your load at and wasn’t pointing anything out other than wondering. Noslers 4831 data must’ve been some great stuff cause they are maxed around 58 I think...

Darn it! I hate when new powders come out and you fellas get great stuff right out of the gate. That’s nearly Mashburn speeds with the 160’s Bruce. My original load was 75.5 of H 1000 for 3200 with a 160 Nosler.

Ha. Yea, they add up quickly! I love the 348 but with the amount you got me, I have a few years before I burn through them. Thank you again WV GLAD I could help. It’s been fine for 2 years and just decided it’d had enough I guess.

I’ve been stacking a little at a time. It’ll get done. And yes. Finding stuff you have forgotten about is a good thing. The new 270 is fun. Well made little rifle. I could see me hunting elk with it.

Yes. Exactly. Mike was real big on them back in the day. But they were real expensive. Nowadays they are the same or less and really high quality powders. 570 and 560 are really good In a few I’ve used them in.

Don’t overlook the V powders as RL338 mentioned. They are damned good and the same price or less than H powders nowadays.

It’s really ridiculous…. I found stuff I haven’t seen in awhile. I did find about 200 .277 130 BBCs which i thought I had, but couldn’t find before the mess.

Love the Garmin. To me, it’s the best tool that’s came out for shooters since the LRF. It really assists on the range and makes life easy.

It really does. Makes 140’s get up to 3200 pretty nicely.
