I’ve been on the lookout for quite some time for a bolt action 30-30. I finally brought one home yesterday , a Savage 840. I’m very pleased in the overall condition of the rifle. Now I can load any bullet I want without worrying about a tubular magazine.

Yes If this was 1x brass you’ll find that the brass will expand more on the second firing. At some point the number of firings will require the shoulder to be bumped back.

SW is allowing you to order some primers and powder online and pick up at store to avoid shipping and hazmat. I wonder if this is an error on the website. I can’t imagine how many orders have been placed for large rifle primers the past week.

That’s a darn good deal. I had the same thought too. I noticed this year a lot of items didn’t discount more than a normal sale price.
